School Begins Again

A few days before school started, I took my last minute "vacation" and went water skiing on the river.
A beautiful sunset is always a great reminder of how much God loves us and how powerful and creative He is.
We had a weekend church campout that was a blessing and lots of fun!

Today was the first day of school. Here is a shot of my classroom.
These are some of my students playing with Play Doh on the first day. Its hard to get back into the routine of school all day, so I try to ease the transition a bit with some fun activities.

And in honor of the first day back to school, here is a little teacher humor...

Good job on the mono ski!
And your classroom looks inviting... but why does it look kinda pink?

Hmmm...my camera must have rose colored glasses or something :-) Not sure why it looks kinda pink in the picture. It doesn't look pink for real - honest!
